Randy grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois… until his family finally saw the light and moved to God’s country (a.k.a. Texas) in 1985. While living in San Antonio, Randy finished his secondary education and graduated from William H. Taft High School in 1990.
From that point, he attended Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri on a football scholarship and in the Spring of 1994 received two undergraduate degrees in Biblical Studies and Political Science (Pre-Law).
In his years at Evangel, Randy found and married the love of his life, Kelli… and the two of them have since dedicated their lives and family ( including their 3 sons) to serving in full-time ministry.
Since 2002, Randy has served as the Lead Pastor of Cross Mountain Church… where he consistently brings a positive message with passion and creativity that will inspire you to practically live out your faith in Jesus Christ.
Jerry McNeill serves as the Missions and Reaching Pastor at Cross Mountain Church and was one of its founding pastors in January of 1997. Jerry oversees the missions and outreaches of which CMC is a part of both in our community, our city and around the world.

Josh Allard grew up in the Houston area, the son of a veteran youth pastor; he has seen the evolution of youth ministry over the years. After graduating high school in 1999, he went to a discipleship program in Fort Meyers, Florida called Master’s Commission. Gaining hands on knowledge and serving as a mentor to younger teens on a daily basis was the central focus during this time.
When his time was complete in Florida, he returned to Texas and went to SouthWestern
Assemblies of God University where he met his wife, Alicia. The two were married in December of 2004 and serve here at Cross Mountain as our full-time youth pastors since September 2007.
In the short time Josh has been with us he has developed a winning team of leaders who are committed, creative and care about the lives of our teens. Josh says, “It’s my goal to connect students to God, their parents, one another, the pastor & Cross Mountain Church. The only way to do that is to help them discover how they are W!RED & then plug them in to the ministries where the best fit.”

Ruth Zertuche was raised in San Antonio. Ever since she was in elementary school she has wanted to work in the ministry. Ruth has worked in children's ministry for eleven years and feels it is the most important job she could ever be part of. Ruth has been married for 9 years to her husband, Gilbert, and has two beautiful daughters Hannah (7) and Malina (3). Ruth enjoys playing games, preferably ones that she wins at. Ruth is dedicated to praying for our preschool ministry and is dedicated to making it a fun place for our children to know who God is and can be in their lives.
