AWANA was founded in 1950 and is an international nondenominational Bible-centered children’s and youth ministry. AWANA’s prayer is that all children and youth throughout the world come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. By using scripture memorization, children are able to please God, able to guard themselves from sinning against God, and to have God’s word to draw on as they witness to others. We will make the most of every opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the children entrusted in our care.

Cross Mountain Church offers 2 AWANA programs: Cubbies for children ages 3 and 4 and Sparks for Kindergarten through 2^nd grade. For our children in grades 3^rd through 6^th, we offer unique Lifegroup programs that are fun and interesting just for this age group. All groups will have the opportunity to earn rewards for completing weekly assignments and scripture memorization. 

AWANA and Pre-teen Lifegroups are offered on Sunday evenings at the Children’s House from 5PM till 6:30PM, check-in time starts at 4:45PM, at the Children’s House!
